This one literally leaped into my head a couple weeks back and would not let go. Less than a weekend later I finished it. Originally it was just the stag but I just had to stick in some birds. And what better to set of the warm tones of the painting but nice, striking black and white Magpies. One of my favourite birds. Acrylic on illustration board. 14x14. Prints and original available.

That is beautiful! I love the colors you chose. :nod: Wowwww! The wings are amazing, and I like the hooves (I know that sounds weird).

Nicely done, lot of good things going on with the colour, pleasant warm temperatures. The positioning of the doe's ears bothers me: the far ear looks to be too far forward on the head for the angle the face is at. The composition of the animals is a bit bland, they're arranged in a way that almost forms a square, but I like the fact that they overlap.

Amazing! Really! I love the wing details, but what i think i love most is the almost playful look on its face.

Actually one of my favourite parts of the painting are the back feet. So, no, I don't think you're weird at all:)
