My favourite breed of horse is the Andalusian and they tend to get painted into a lot of my fantasy art. But this time I just wanted to paint a horse. Well and some birds of course! This is ink and watercolour on illustration board, 11x14.

your art is beautiful. this reminds me of a gorgeous old polish book my grandma owns with these beautiful konick (horses) that are illustrated a bit like this. brilliant.
