White Prince by Hbruton White Prince by Hbruton
My version of Michael Moorcock's melancholy albino, Elric. If you're my age and a fantasy artist, it's almost required that you have painted this character at least once in your life. Like many, I've choosen not to portray him in the described yellow plaid (Yikes!) but choose the much cooler black and silver. Acrylic on illustration baord. Prints available.

Anyway, this picture is very well done, I like the detail. The black armor suits him much better; yellow plaid is simply too cheerful a color for Elric.
It is nice to see some artwork of Elric for a change.

Very Nice, great to see someone do an Elric piece...seems to be less and less people that know who the character is.

Don't talk like that. You make me feel old considering I do know who this characters is. I read Moorcock's Elric Saga and I own most of it. Amazing story. Very dark, an excellent turn on doomsday fantasy.
