I really enjoy painting on papyrus even if it does have it's difficulties. But it's such a nice surface for doing Egyptian themed pics. Not sure if this is Sobek or one of the minor croc gods,. But either way, it was fun to do:) 13 x10 acrylic on papyrus.

It's not too hard to find. I get mine at a Dick Blick's store. It's in the section where they sell all the fancy papers. I expect you could order it on line with a little searching. Good luck!

I think the papyrus was a great choice. It really adds character to the artwork.
