Probably my single favourite painting of mine. Sure it has problems but overall I still like it even this many years after I've painted it. Anubis, waits for nightfall in the Hypostyle Hall in Karnak. Again, all jewelry, costuming, background and objects exist with the single exception of the standard. the original has a lion as opposed to a jackal on it. 33x24 acrylic on illustration board. Prints available.
wow, you work big... thats great, I have trouble keeping things in proportion once I get up into larger sizes- But your paintings are splended. Theres a lot of digital paintings out there but I really dont think anything can take the place of traditional work.
This is a beutiful piece, I just love how you render different cultures/time periods
fantastic work, I can see whay it's one of your favorites.
Wonderful piece. You've made Anubis as stunning as he was so long ago (and still is). Fantastic job.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
