A gift drawing for a really nice guy. I used to draw tons of centaurs but haven't sat down and done a finished drawing of one in years. It was like visiting an old friend:)
11x14 ink and grey scale marker on bristol.

Nice perspective and anatomy! The only thing missing for me is the facial expression- with that pose, I somehow want to see something joyful crossing his face. :) Instead he looks a little smug, which is perhaps more appropriate for centaurs. ;)

... ah, looking again, I think the farthest arm might be a little long above the elbow? Not sure.

Either way, great piece. :)

Doh! You're right about the arm. It's so frustrating not to notice so obvious an anatomy flaw till it's too late to do something about it:)
