Here's one of my cards for the upcoming Wild Cat Deck. A wonderful card project that will feature all the various species of Wild Cats in the world. I was lucky enough to get my fav, the lovely Snow Leopard. I'll make an announcement here when it becomes available. Make sure you get a deck, there's a wonderful assortment of artists and some reall kick ass art in it!

Acrylic on illustration board.

This is a very beautiful rendition of the snow leopard. I love the lofty, windy feel to it. Watching from on high. I agree that the tattered, aged prayer flags are a very wonderful addition.

Oh! Is anyone getting the white throated jaguar? I heard about it just recently. Pure black cat, larger than a jaguar with a white throat collar who hunts in pairs in South America.

No pictures yet, but they have a skull and a skin. I'm going to have to hunt down to see if I can find out more about this project!

This is so beautiful! A real testament to your skill and dedication to detail. Do you recall how long it took to finish? Did you use a photo reference?

Hmm, I think it took me one evening to paint and about half an hour to sketch. And yes, I did use photo reference. It's taken from a picture I took of one of the Snow Leopards at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. I did foget to mention that it's only 5x7.5".
