The show season is starting to gear up and I want to have a new set of fantasy bookmarks for the various street and art fairs I'll be doing. My bird dragons are immensely popular so it's about time I did a set of them.

Since it's spring it only seems appropriate for the first one to be a Red Wing Blackbird. They're arrving in every increasing numbers locally and I can hear them calling any time I step out the door or have the windows open. I've got three more to do.

I like to picture this little guy just singing away and claiming his territory. There are few song birds that can wail like a Red Wing!
