Frustrated by the early covers for RA Salvatore's Drizzt novels, I just had to paint my own version of the character. I choose to do him as he emerges onto the surface for the first time. Prints available. Original available. 33x24 acrylic on illustration board.

This is a very nice painting, you're truly skilled :w00t: Though I think Drizzt looks like a pirate, but his facial expression is really good

Sometimes my desire to paint pretty boys in pretty costumes bumps into what I know wouldn't work as a real, functioning outfit. Yes, that shirt is too white but I'm a slave to fashion! Or at least my own vision of it:D
