He Who Balances

I've always been fond of Thoth. And who wouldn't since he is the Egyptian God of such cool things as writing, science, magic, librarians and other things near and dear to my head. I've always liked how Thoth is shown not as a classic Sacred Ibis but as an bluish green colour, ie the colour of magic in Egypt. It adds a nice touch. There are things I'm not too happy about in this one and things I like a lot. Pretty typical The background carving is from a photo that we took on our trip to Eygpt. Nice to use some of the photos finally! The jewelry is all authentic and the scroll is from the Book of the Dead.
