Wow, sometimes I love my job:) Someone approached me at Toronto Trek, about painting a garden statue they had. She explained it reminded her of my Blue jay dragons and what would I charge to paint it like them. When she showed me the statue I agreed completely and was very, very happy to take the commission. I love painting 3-d objects. It's a resin dragon that can be used as a fountain.

I finally got time to paint it today though it has been primed and base painted black from before my vacation. It's done in with lots of layers of dry brushing. Which incidently is death to flat brushes. But the results are so darn cool! Now I want to find some more of these to paint. It would be neat to have some to offer up for auction or sale on occassion. I'll have to look around though it is rather the wrong season for it.

I'm not sure it will help but the statues were purchased from a couple Home Depots a couple years ago Not sure if you'd find them anywhere now. I have a couple more and paint them on commission. They cost $300 USD fully painted to your colour scheme and are then sealed. I have no idea what shipping to Singapore would be.

Beautiful work! I wish I could get that good! As far as you selling them, I would check around some of the new age shops. The owners may be willing to consign them for you. I sell mine through one, and make pretty decent money!
