New pic in my domestic dragons series. Another good one for the kitchen. The part I enjoyed painting most in this pic? The cookies especially the chocolate chip ones.

And here is the final version of the water phoenix. So much fun to paint. It will be up for auction later this month at the collective. I'll provide a link when the page is open.

I'm about to head out of town for week but wanted to get started on my first challenge as a member. Under the Sea dovetailed perfectly into a painting I'd already been planning to do. While in San Diego recently I was on a whale watch. No whales but we did see a super bod of Common dolphins and lots of birds. I was with some other artists and we someone ended up on the topic of a water phoenix. I'd done one before but this really inspired me. So here are the pencils. I'm planning on finishing is with ink and watercolour. Something to look forward to when I get home!
I'll be heading out to California for a con next month and that means I get to do another centaur for the delightful Jack. Here's the result. For some reason I'm addicted to the thought of tattooed centaurs. Might have to render this fellow again.
